File Online or by mail

I have put everything together to send in for my wife but wanted to see if anyone had an opinion on which way to file the N-400.

Is it a better/faster path to citizenship or is it essentially the same?

 

Looking at the processing times it is 5.5 - 14 months, pretty large swing.

 

Any advise would be helpful.

I'm sure you save all of a day or two by filing online, instead of waiting for the mail/express delivery person

 

Having an online account will also allow you to:

• Pay your filing fee online;
• Check the status of your case;
• Receive notifications and case updates;
• View personalized case completion date estimates;
• Respond to requests for evidence; and
• Manage your contact information, including updating your address.

 

 

The N-400 is largely a sit-back-and-wait affair - Your choice

I came to the same conclusion, mailed it out late yesterday..........................
