HELP: IR-2 interview questions and experience

Recommended Posts

I am 20 years old. My biological mother filed me for IR-2 and the interview will begin in couple of days. Here are some questions, thanks.

1. Could anyone who had such experience tell me the interview process and what kinds of questions will VO ask?

2. I cannot find pics with my father and the photos taken with my parents recently. They also don't come back often. Will the scarce of such material interfere my application? What should I do?

I would appreciate anyone's response!! Thank you very much!

It's advisable, if possible, to have a parent there and carry their passport with you to lay on the counter where the Visa Officer can see it. Either your mother or her husband.

Interviewees have been known to be turned down when not accompanied by a parent to the consulate, although it's not clear that it's as important in your situation (20 yrs. old and IR-2).
