Too much rain in Guangxi

I heard that there was flooding in the streets of Nanning a few days ago. I wonder if the rains, and flooding caused this problem:

Googled "Rongxian county" and Wiki says that it is near Yulin.

Yes - Rongxian is part of the Yulin prefecture - we go there occasionally for chicken and pomeloes - http://candleforlove.com/forums/gallery/album/682-rongxian/

 

We've had a little rain also, but nothing Biblical or even newsworthy.

At least 114 people have been killed in the rain-triggered ‪#‎floods‬, mudslides and other disasters since Thursday in north ‪China‬’s ‪Hebei‬ Province. Another 111 people are still missing. A total of 310,000 people have been evacuated. Over 52,000 homes collapsed, according to the latest official figures. The disasters have led to a direct economic loss of 15 billion yuan.

Northwest Chinese city issues storm alert

Northwest ‪#‎China‬'s Xi'an City has issued a red storm alert, the highest in China's four-tier color-coded warning system, as heavy rain has battered the city since Sunday.

The city has seen waterlogging in some regions, and maximum precipitation in parts of the city exceeded 100 mm in 5 hours.

About 100 flights were disrupted at Xi'an Xianyang International Airport and a subway station was temporarily closed due to the rain.

Torrential rain has swept across northern China since last week and had left 130 people dead and 110 others missing in Hebei as of Sunday.
