Hi everyone

i am confused about form I-130 section C question 22 , we are going to DCF our I-130 petiton in China , how should we answer this question ?

i also want to know what is the best way to compile our documents for filing? do we need to use a binder with some plastic protection sheet inside it and put related documents inside one sheet ? are we allowed to staple related documents and papers together, for example, staple the whole copy of our house lease pages together or just use paper clip to keep them together ? any detailed advice for documents compiling ?

Thanks for your help

I-130 C 22 has to do with the prospective immigrant already is in the USA, for example a college student in the USA on a student visa, marries and then files for a green card by filing the I-130 along with an I-485. So, no you can put N/A there.

No staples, best way to bind everything is have a cover sheet on top itemizing everything to follow, the I-130 and G-325A forms next followed by all the related evidence and documents. Photocopies only only the I-130 and G-325A forms need to be originals.

You can two hole punch everything at the top and use an ACCO Fastener to bind it all.

Thanks for your quick advice . So it is best to submit a manila folder with the two hole prongs on the top? Within the folder we then use tabs at the bottom of each section? How do we put our photos within the folder?

You can put photos in a baggie and staple it to a sheet, on each photo in pencil write Who Where When on the back side and who on the backside of the passport photos. Passport photos are 2"x2" or 5cm x 5cm

You can also print the photos on letter sized sheets and bind them into the petition.

USCIS no longer routinely requires submission of original documents or "certified copies." Instead, ordinary legible photocopies of such documents (including naturalization certificates and alien registration cards) will be acceptable for initial filing and approval of petitions and applications.

Also forgot to mention another form to attach is G-1145 to get emails http://www.uscis.gov/g-1145

Hi

i was reading question No.22 again , and i found it has two sections :

the first section is :your relative is in united states and apply for adjustment of status to that of a lawful permanent resident at the USCIS office in :

------------------(city) ,-------------(state)

the second section : if your reative is not eligible for adjustment of status ,he or she will apply for a visa abroad at the American consular post in :

--------------(city), ----------------(country)

the first part is not applicable to us as beneficiary is not in united states. but what about the second part ? should i fill it out and put Guangzhou , China as the place which interview will take place?what do you think about it ?

thanks again for all of your help
