pinoy0320
hello all, my wife is preparing to get her medical check-up in shanghai. She only has 3 records of the required vaccinations listed. i was wondering how much did you all pay for additional vaccination shots? Also, did you have to get them allt? it seems like a lot of shots for one sitting.. thank you all in advance. Link to comment
warpedbored
I assume she will be coming to the US on a CR-1 or IR-1 immigrant visa by filing the I-130 so yes she will need to get all of the vaccinations she doesn't have records of. If she were coming on a K-1 or K-3 visa she could get them here but it's cheaper in China anyway. http://www.uscis.gov/news/questions-and-answers/vaccination-requirements Under the immigration laws of the United States, a foreign national who applies for an immigrant visa abroad, or who seeks to adjust status to a permanent resident while in the United States, is required to receive vaccinations to prevent the following diseases: Mumps Measles Rubella Polio Tetanus and Diphtheria Toxoids Pertussis Haemophilus influenzae type B Hepatitis B Any other vaccine-preventable diseases recommended by the Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices Link to comment

Perhaps a recent person through the medical can provide this. Link to comment
Doug
It must not have been much, as she never mentioned the money. My wife even had to go back for a booster after the initial shots. She had no yellow book on herself either, just her daughter. Link to comment
