ferg9
I'm living with my fiance in China. I'm wondering how to write my Chinese address on the I-129f. I've seen some posts talk about it already, but I'm still a bit lost. I can't fit all of the pinyin in the space allowed on the form. Should I just write "See attachment" and write the pinyin and Chinese characters on a separate page? This might sound stupid, but is the attachment page supposed to be stapled to the I-129F? How does one include it as an attachment among all the other documents that accompany the I-129F? Same goes for my phone number. The spaces provided at the end are for a U.S. number. Should I leave it blank and just provide an email? Thanks for any advice!! Link to comment
Doug
You must give all the information asked for on the form, or with an attached supplemental page. I had a lot of things I had to put on the attached page. I just did it like this:Part 2 Item 3a thru 3i. Part 2 Item 19a & 19b. Also do the phone number and anything else like that. Some things I repeated on the supplement page, it was approved just fine. Don't depend on an email to be the supplement page, because you need to mail it or scan it in. If mailed I guess you staple. I don't recall if I stapled it or not, but imagine I did. Link to comment
tsap seui
ferg9, I'll answer you here. My last application was in 2010. I used supplemental pages in it also. Where a question was asked that I needed more space I wrote in "PLEASE SEE SUPPLEMENTAL PAGE NUMBER ONE" or attachment page as you prefer. Then I made a heading on the supplemental page that clearly told what question it answered, and I used a paperclip to hold the pages together. Seems like I read somewhere where the USCIS and State Department didn't like staples???? This is your initial application...do not rely upon an email. I'd just use another supplemental page if need be...and label it as to what question it answered. Good luck, man. Ask all of the questions you have. tsap seui Link to comment
johnny206
I just use "continuation sheet" for addresses. You can see what I did here http://candleforlove.com/forums/topic/47444-complete-k-1-application-sample/. Link to comment
