alien registration number

Hi,

 

I am ready to email the I-864 to the National Visa Center. But, i still haven't received the Alien registration Number that is listed on the form. When and where do i receive this number?

It is "NONE".

 

The only time you would know an A# for the I-864 would be a K-1 adjusting status, or in the case where a person was a former US Resident.

 

K-1 I-129F NOA-2 letter shows the A# below beneficiary name, Spouse I-130 NOA-2 sometimes does not.

 

Look at the I-130 approval notice.

 

 

In this example is a K-1 NOA-2 it shows Beneficiary A# next to their name.

 

For a spouse CR-1 or IR-1 visa you will not have an A# until the visa is issued

 

A# will be registration number on visa.
