Benanza
Hi there,Is the A-number 8 or 9 digits? The number I found through USCIS is 8 digits but the I-864 shows 9 spaces. I think I have the right number? Is the case number the A-number? Best regards,Ben Link to comment
dnoblett
Should now be 9 digits, A 000-000-000 it will be the green-card number. The alien registration number, which the Department of Homeland Security assigns to each alien. It is an "A" followed by eight numbers. For example: A12 345 678. Some recently-issued A numbers consist of an "A" followed by nine digits. For example: A 200 345 678.http://www.uscis.gov/tools/glossary/number http://www.no-sacred-cows.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/new-us-green-card.jpg Note the 9 digit number under USCIS# If you have an 8 digit number, simply put a zero as the first digit. 0##-###-### Typical place to find it on I-130 or I-129F approval notice.http://www.visajourney.com/gallery/albums/Immigration/I-129F-NOAs/NOA2.jpg Link to comment
