Matching up an appointment with two applicants IR-1/ IR-2

This is such a terrific site! I just found it after completing my form DS-260 and sending in all the required information. I have searched for the answer to my question on this site an humbly ask for the following...

My wife is IR-1 and my step-daughter is IR-2. I opened two separate http://ustraveldocs.com profiles for each of them, since my step-daughter will be 14 when we actually immigrate and they have separate case numbers. My question is this... how do I make an appointment match up or is it automatic? Do I make the same appointment time on both of their profiles separately? I know they should go to the interview together.

i would simply set them for same day and time. They should then get interviewed together.

I have only made appointments for a visitor's visa but when you make that appointment, there is a question about other family members who need to interview. I would think the immigration appointments would be the same.

Good point! I will pay attention to that when I make my appointment.
