tsap seui
Steve, that is one incredible video, thank you for posting it. What a ton of thought and effort that tower is.. Man, all of those heavy glass panels, "hung" from above, not resting from below. Now that there is some engineering. Yes, that video is well worth the time. LOL...I got up early just to watch it. Great job in giving us the video, my TV time is very limited and I'd never have seen it otherwise. tsap seui Link to comment

Steve in USA
Nice photos Randy. When I was in Shanghai, on my way to Ningbo last September, could not even see the Shanghai Tower from Weitan. Too much smog. Link to comment
Randy W
in the Shanghaiist Shanghai Tower observatory finally opens to the public on skyscraper's 118th floor http://shanghaiist.com/attachments/alexlinder/shanghai_tower_top.jpgIt will cost you 180 yuan ($36) to see a panoramic view of the city from 546 meters up in the appropriately-named "Top of Shanghai" observatory, which is open each day from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., following a lengthy trial opening period. . . . To get all the way up there takes just 55 seconds aboard the Shanghai Tower's Guinness World Record-setting elevators -- though you probably should also account for how long you'll have to wait in line.
