Sinkhole In Bowling Green KY

Back in 2001 we went on a driving vacation from Rochester down to Nashville and back stopping at many points of interest on the way there and back, one stop was the GM plant and Corvette Museum in Bowling Green.

Early this morning a sinkhole, or basement failure happened below the main showroom of the Corvette Museum, damaging or destroying 8 rare or one of a kind cars.

Damn, that was sickening to watch.

I've never been to the factory there in Bowling Green but I had read the museum has some great and rare Corvettes there on display. They can repair and repaint the fiberglas, and straighten out bent whatevers but that was awful watching that happen.

If we buy a 2014 or 2015 or so vette would be a cool experience to fly to Bowling Green and watch them assemble our car, then drive it home from the factory. Then again, I'm more of a lease guy for something like a car. Keep it for 3 years and get a new one....or get out of it altogether. LOL A Buick is much smarter to own but my Gawd, every time I ever swung a leg in, and climbed into a Corvette I felt like I was going on holiday. Just my opinion. :) Stoopid as I yam, I love them thangs.
