Thanks...but you can't save data typed into these form. I know there's some out there. Just can't find them right now.

Check the Embassy and consulate web sites. What's most important is that you use the form THEY expect you to use., whether typed, stored, or filled in with good old fashioned ink and paper.

The form is NEW as of the new regulations which took effect in Sept., 2013 (which I expect you already know).

Open the PDF document from the link I provided you. Then, right-click it and select "Save as". Give it a name. Close the document and reopen it. Enter the text in the fields and save again.

You can also:

Download a trial version of Adobe Acrobat. That application will enable you to enter text into the fields and save it. Adobe allows 30-days free trial.

Thanks! I was just looking for one that allowed me to work on it at work and home, save it as needed. Don't have a printer at home.

I recommend the use of 'sneakernet' technology

Sure, if you've got a jump drive that's working and available. They have a nasty habit of disappearing when you need them. Another alternative is to simply email it to yourself and and keep it in a do not delete status. That way it's available from any computer where you have access to email.

Right click on any of those documents and there's no SAVE option. But thanks!

The 'Save' option is within Adobe Reader - click on 'File', 'Save', or 'Save as' - AFTER you've edited your changes.

You also have the option when downloading the file to either 'Save' as a disk file, or bring it up within Adobe Reader.

It's your choice.

The visa service I have used several times has a fill-able version on their site.

https://www.oasischinavisa.com/forms.html

https://www.oasischinavisa.com/forms/China_Visa_Application_Form.pdf

However there is no saving it with info in it, it is restricted to saving blank, or printing with entered information.

Open the link to the PDF document in your browser and it will look like this:

Then, right-click somewhere in the document and select "Save page as"
