Having been a member here for so long i know how important these forums are. I have a friend who is getting ready to go thru this process with a woman from Vietnam. Does anyone know of a simular forum to this that is for vietnam what this forum is for china?

Not sure but i am thinking that he might be considering moving there so a website dedicated to Vietnam would be better for him. I did call and tell him about visajourney.

Direct them here, the initial paperwork is the same no matter, interview prep for Ho Chi Minh is basically the same too. A couple VN people have come through Candle.

VJ has a portal dedicated to Vietnam and as Dan said this site might not be a bad idea either.

CFL is unique in that we are focused primarily on China. Most other sites have several countries. I don't know of any dedicated to VN but as Dan mentioned the process is the same. The consulate would be somewhat different. For instance as I recall (and I could be wrong) the consulate in Ho Chi Min city doesn't do DCF filings. Marc Ellis lives in VN and would know all the ins and outs of the consulate there. If there is enough interest I wouldn't be opposed to a VN forum or sub forum.

Should CFL consider a forum or two on other asian consulates? It would not get much activity but food for thought.
