Get Brothers and Sisters in China to USA

We are thinking about doing an I-130 for one for my wife's Brothers in China (Jiangxi Province). He has a wife and 2 small kids himself.
Any ball park timelines to possible get him over? It took me 1 1/2 years after I was married in China to get my wife over here in 2006.
That was with doing everything right the first time.
I'm sure it will be longer for her brother.

Firstly your spouse needs to naturalize and become a US citizen. After that and she can file an I-130 for sibling the sibling's family would get derivative visas to accompany sibling to the USA

 

Only down side is siblings fall in the family fourth pref class (F4) which by the DOS website is taking about 10 years to get a visa number. There are a limited number assigned per year.

Yep it will be somewhere around 10 years. My wife is from Jiangxi as well.

Keep in mind a US citizen cannot petition for: inlaws, niece, nephew.

 

Your wife can petition siblings and parents only after becoming a citizen.
