AoS Question -- Marriage Certificate?

Jing entered the USA on July 5 in SFO.

 

We're getting married on the 15th of September? Is that too late in the pocess?

 

When we got our marriage certificate this morning, they said it takes up to 10 days after you turn in your signed/completed marriage license to get a certificate.

 

Is this going to pose a huge issue? Should we reschedule the wedding to an earlier date?

Will not be an issue, as long as you marry within the 90 day window you will be fine. I have seen cases where a coupple get married a few days prior to the 90 day mark, and then have to file AOS outside tha 90 days because have to wait for 'arriage cert., not a problem.

 

Now dont go too long after the I94 expiration to file, no sence being over stay for too long.
