Inviting her parents to visit the US after we are married

Hi all. My wife to be want to continue to pay into her Chinese retirement after we are married so in turn she would have to wait to become a US citizen. With this in mind, will this make it harder for her parents to come visit us? I've heard it would but I've heard its easier for them to come visit us after she becomes a citizen here. Anyone have any experience with something like this?

It won't much affect ability to obtain B2 visa for her parents to come and visit (maybe a little harder, but not much... we've done it). B2 is usually good for up to 6 months visit. If they wanted to actually immigrate, she would first have to become US citizen and then she could petition on their behalf.

I believe immigrations status of wife is not much of a factor in if a parent would get a visitor's visa or not, many topics posted about parents getting visit visas.

 

One would think the immigrations intent risk would be less when son/daughter is not a US Citizen than if were a citizen, parent would not be able to adjust status from visitor to immigrant if son/daughter is only a green-card holder.

That makes sense. She and I are thinking ahead because we are still waiting for P3 to arrive but her parents want to visit her here in the US once after we are married. Thanks everyone
