Traveling to HongKong with a Permanent Resident Card

Recommended Posts

Thanks, so it doesn't mean much traveling to countries.. same rules apply..

Travel rules apply for most countries.

HOWEVER:

No visa needed for a green-card holder to visit Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean Island countries. My wife visited Canada 12 times since getting a green-card.

I have a related travel question.

Any day now, we'll get our interview date...We're planning on visiting New Zealand next year.

If I understand you correctly she should apply for the visa now. Otherwise she'll have to make a trip from USA to China next year just to apply for a visa to visit New Zealand.

This can easily be applied for in the USA.

The application passport and fee can be mailed to their office in Los Angeles, or in Washington DC
