dnoblett Posted October 20, 2011 Report Share Posted October 20, 2011 (edited) yep 4 to 7 months is a norm, however I have seen cases go longer, in some cases if hits a year the immigrant starts applying for citizenship based on 3 years residency married to a US Citizen. The N-400 for citizenship can be filed at 1 year after filing the I-751, even with I-751 pending, simply attach a copy of I-751 receipt notice.
