Mailed I-129f today...questioning my fiancee's signatures

I've seen a similar topic on here but never really saw a clear answer. My fiancee's family name is Liu and her given name is Zhiran. She signed the fiance letter of intent and the G-325a form "Liu Zhiran"....last name first and first name last. Is this going to cause problems with my I-129f? I've read and read that a person's signature is "their" signature and USCIS won't have a problem with the way she signed since in China family name is always first.

 

One other question. I left section E on the I-129f blank since I filled out the form myself. Should I have written "NONE" in there or was it ok to leave it blank? Every example I have seen leaves that part blank on the form. I know I sound paranoid but we are FINALLY at the point where we have mailed in I-129f and we are so happy to have this process started.

Part E is for a professional third party to fill in. For example in future forms for your fiancee wife to fill in, if you do them for her, you do not have to fill in that section, is for a third party like lawyer.

Thank you for responding. She wrote her name in English in the signature block but I was concerned because she signed last name first. Below that there in the box "native alphabet" she wrote her name in Chinese characters as well.

My wife has an "English" name it is Rosemary, however it is not used in any legal sense...

 

Chinese names are not written in "English" if using roman characters phonetically, this is called "pinyin" to write a Chinese name in English would entail translating the characters to their meanings in English and writing that.

 

She did fine with signature.

 

Also a word about N/A and None...

 

N/A means does not apply, for example asking a woman did she apply for the draft.. The answer is N/A

 

None means none, the question does apply, however the answer is none. For example my wife has no middle name, the question applies, she could have a middle name however she has none...

One more thing, I hope you attached good front loading evidence of a bonafide relationship to the petition filing, this tends to get this to the VO before interview so that can better make decisions.

 

One trend with GUZ tends to be tougher on K-1 than CR-1, the reasoning being commitment. Being committed up front to marry first then file for a visa tends to be a stronger message than filing petition to marry later..

 

Keep in mind K-1 is a visa type that was intended for situations where getting married overseas is difficult or impossible because of rules in the foreign country, it allows marriage in the USA where the rules that prevented marriage overseas do not exist.

I also sent a picture of the two of us talking on Skype. I sent 12 pictures of us together. I hope this is enough to show we have a relationship

Some front load stuff is "red flag" stuff, things like prior relationships, knowing family in states, or elsewhere, if prior relationship was another immigrations case?

 

Other things for K-1 are travel info, if you traveled to China to meet, evidence of when and how many trips prior to petition filing is required, if met in states, as in perhaps Chinese citizen working or here as a student, then evidence of them being here. K-1 requires evidence of being together sometime within 2 year of filing, pictures together without dated evidence won't do.

In addition to providing the pages of chats and emails, I also included many things proving I went to China to meet her. I included scans of boarding passes, my passport with visa entry and exit stamps, my itinerary, store receipts, and train tickets. I feel that I have included everything they asked for and look for. Crossing my fingers.

Hi David. I plan to return again in January for an 8 day visit. I want to go back for the interview date too if I can work that out. I have read that some people on here met once and then filed, still receiving approval. I sent quite a bit of emails and chats to show we had a 6 month relationship prior to meeting. Hopefully all will go well.

Thanks for your help David. I am definitely going back in January and I hope to go back for the interview. We are so excited but also nervous about our K1 journey. I appreciate the help and support from the folks on the site.
