Thomas Promise
Mr Brown survived against all odds. A 65 mile death march in the Phillipines where 11,000 perished and then over 3 years in captivity by the Japanese. The experts told him he would see not 50 after his liberation. Dr. Brown said ya ain't seen nothing yet. Made to 105. He was a member of America's greatest generation. Thank you. RIP. Argyle
Hi, Thank you for sharing this story. He was an amazing man. Every day we lose so many heroes from this greatest generation. They lived through the worst of times, yet the things they accomplished were quite simply... amazing. We don't just owe them a lot, or so much... we owe them everything. Without these courageous men and women, this would be a very different world. Wenn Sie nicht dieses auf Deutsch lesen mogen, danken Sie einem Amerikanischen Soldaten!(If you don't like reading this in German, thank an American Soldier!) Best Wishes. Link to comment
