Coming up on 2 years now

Hi all,

 

My wife and I are coming up on two years for her now in the US (this November) and I am unsure of what my next step is. Will the Government contact me? Do I need to contact them? Any info on what we should be doing next is well appreciated. And apologies if this has been asked before (I'm sure it has :/).

Is the green-card a 2 year conditional one, or a 10 year unconditional one?

 

The .GOV may inform you that you are getting close to needing to remove conditions, however, don't rely on this.

 

If is a 2 year CR-Green-Card, you will need to joint file an I-751 to remove the conditions, within 90 days before the card expires.
