Randy W
Uh - think Mattel Vac-U-Form and prototyping from computer designs there. Hand scanning? No. Pre-assembled moving parts or machinery? No - there is no way you can scan information about internal surfaces, let alone "print" them pre-assembled. Link to comment
Randy W
3D printer produced an adjustable wrench This is an ABS adjustable wrench that was produced using our 3D rapid prototyping machine. The white material is ABS, and the brown material is used to support the white material where necessary for the build. The brown material then either breaks away or is dissolved in a sodium hydroxide bath. Interesting, but NOT scannable (it's produced from a computer model) - still doesn't look like much more than a next-generation Vac-U-Form. Link to comment
