natopronto
Frank Buckles is believed to be the last US WW1 vet. to pass on. He was an ambulance driver in the 1st World War then as a civilin he was working in Manilla, Phillipines and was captured by the Japanese and spent 3 + years in captivity with them. He went beyond the call of duty. He was like so many heroes unsung. May he RIP. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/8353201/Americas-last-World-War-One-veteran-Frank-Buckles-dies-aged-110.html Link to comment
