Davidq
my fiancee got the divorce certificate translated. Is there any reason for them to see the details as in money exchanged, furniture, etc?Or should we just include the date of divorce, children, custody times of pick up and drop back off and pertinent items? Thanks for your help? If for K-1 visa you need evidence that are free to marry before the petition filing. As for details, you may want to include a detailed evolution of relationship in the initial petition filing. david_dawei
I would translate the divorce decree as-is. They will include the original of something they translate. If it's the little red book variety, it's generally brief. If it's extended pages, then so be it. If there is a child involved, you definitely want to translate the whole thing as I don't think it would look good to translates parts only. Link to comment
