China to Canada?

Canada only permits spousal applications; they got rid of the finacee visa some years ago. So they should plan on that method.

 

Canada has the option (not in GUZ) to interview the couple separately if desired. Again, plan and prepare accordingly.

 

I recall their denial process is just a flat "no". If you want to try again, you submit everything again and try again.
