Jingwen's divorce document also states that she has not registered any marriage since her divorce. I presume that this would qualify to show that she is single. Am I mistaken?

 

She also has a document that says that she has custody of (fosters) the children.

For the Chinese beneficiary - YES

 

For the US petitioner - NO

The problem is Carl, that sometimes the VO will ask for it and sometimes they won't.

 

There has been cases reported on 001 bbs where the fiancee was asked for the still single certificate and was forced to travel back to her hometown get the certificate and then return to Guangzhou for another interview.

 

So depending on where the moon sets that evening and the mood of the interviewing VO, they may or may not ask for it.

 

My suggestion is to have it in hand just in case.
