kimo
Hi:I got a request for initial evidence for the I-693 which I only sent in the supplemental form because I thought that they already had the DS-2053 That my wife took in China. Now it seems they want the whole I 693 6 page form.Does this sound correct to those who have experience with this? Also,I sent in a joint sponser form from my mother just to cover all bases, and they are now requesting proof of her citizen ship which I have no idea of where her birth cert. is.Would the best way to handle this be to cancell her as a joint sponser and go on my own merrits (assets). Thanks, Kimo Link to comment
dnoblett
When adjusting status you need to get International Vaccinations Record "yellow book" transfered to an I-693 by a US Civil Surgeon. USCIS has Medical results that were required for a K-Visa, however they do not have a copy of vaccinations record which is required for immigrations, this is the I-693. Note: Some Civil Surgeons will try to hit you for a full medical, SHOP Around, the vaccinations part is all that is needed and the fee to transfer on average is $50 or so, many as low as $25. Other forms of citizenship proof are Full copy of a US Passport. Edited April 29, 2010 by dnoblett (see edit history) Link to comment
