Electronic processing

Recommended Posts

It doesn't change the fact that no instructions anywhere say the email has to be from the beneficiary's email in China.

Sorry, guy! Can't help with that one! :lol:

As far as I'm aware, none do state that!

Besides, it doesn't anymore. :rolleyes:

My experience was that it did not matter which email the scanned PDF's came from. When my wife petitioned for her parents, all scanned documents were sent from the Petitioner's email address. We had no issues at all.

This, I think, was the reference that started that side issue -

The applicant must scan and e-mail appropriate forms and/or documents as requested by NVC (no paper copies will be accepted).

The applicant would be the beneficiary of a petition.

. . . and they did use those terms fairly distinctly

All visa applicants, their designated agent (if applicable), and their petitioner will need to follow the processing requirements in order to successfully complete Electronic Processing of the immigrant visa petition.

Yea -- and the world was created by God in just 7 physical days according to a literal interpretation of the Bible... :rolleyes:

The instructions also say

What is required to participate?

If eligible to participate in Electronic Processing the applicant (or designated agent) and the petitioner must:

Have regular access to e-mail internet service;

Have the ability to scan required documents into PDF files;

Be able to submit all forms electronically (no paper copies will be accepted).

Now the applicant can designate the petitioner as an agent and then submit everything from Tim buck too if they want ... the concept that they are checking IP address and rejecting OPT In from non-chinese IP address sounds like one of those urban myths ...

I'm completely unclear on who or what you're arguing with or about - or even IF you are arguing.

There doesn't seem to be any open question whatsoever.

I'm outa here . . .

Makes two of us because I was unclear of the point of your posts. I just merely stated that the bottom line is either the petitoner or the applicant can OPT-IN and email the documents regardless of some rumor on VJ or here.

And I stated that some people CLAIMED to have been delayed because of sending the DS-3032 email from the applicant, instead of the beneficiary. If you want, you can take it up with THEM (not ME) over on VJ, if you can find them. As far as I could tell, the "rumor" WAS true - just pointing out that it apparently ISN'T true today.

Arguing about the PAST won't change anything today.
