Kyle
Very seldom do I post news links, because, well - you can read the news for yourself. But, this was simply amazing to me, and the pictures included in the second link made my jaw drop. Another act of violence occurs, this time resulting in a Chinese gamer getting stabbed. This is tragic instance of senseless violence; it is remarkable that he survived. Knife play is extremely common in China. One of my old hangouts (Wuhan - a Muslim noodle restaurant) was shut down because a disgruntled customer fatally stabbed the owner. I cannot believe someone could get so irate over a video game to do this kind of harm to another human being. I guess I shouldn't be too flabbergasted as this type of action has been going on for quite some time, not just in China, but all over the world, including the good ol' US of A. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2010/03/23/article-1260043-08D5998B000005DC-898_468x521.jpg http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,589884,00.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/...accusation.html EDIT: RobertH, where were you when this happened?????? Stepbrow
It is amazing that the kid survived. I hope that he continues to be OK because a big problem with brain injuries is bleeding after an injury, and he is sure a candidate for that. Link to comment
