A friend of my wife's just got the p2(NOA2?)approved. I sent her husband this link... which is what I used 2 years ago... is this still valid? I don't want to provide outdated information. I can't beleive in little more than 1 month, it will be 2 years my long ordeal with USCIS ended and now my wife is well into her 2 year here in the States.

If doing CR-1 or IR-1 through China, then DO Electronic filing, the "Shortcuts" don't apply if doing the newer electronic processing.

 

And the "Shortcuts" don't apply to K-Visas either.

I wrote that wiki in Jan 2008 based on James shortcuts that were a discussion thread.

Over time it has been updated and improved. I have not continued to monitor and update it because the new electronic processing is WAY better.

 

Perhaps the electronic processing changes are in there by now, but I am at work and don't have time to review it immediately.

Thanks Dnoblett, I appreciate you pointing me in the right direction. I'd hate it if I delayed thier process in the least. I really haven't kept up to date on the procedures much. I've forwarded on this information and I will read these instructions more and share any information that might be helpful.

 

They are I -130(CR-1) and the lady is from my wife's hometown. She is a real sweet lady.
