Anyone going over for New Years?

Recommended Posts

The last six weeks of work have seen about two days off at most; the next six weeks are as busy...

I just realized today that next monday is a holiday so it's a short work week; With that in mind, I decided I should go a week to China for New Years. So booked them today.

This is the big advantage of having a longer term visa and flyer miles... this trip is costing me $35.00 to go :cheering:

I've never been to china for less than a month, and a month always seems too short. So now I'm in a position to compress a month of fun into a week... not sure how much jiu that means, but I can imagine

this trip will go down as my wildfire trip; it happened so fast and already I have people asking me to be in 5 cities in my 7 days...

when I am with my friends in china, they characteristically want to know, "what is the plan".... to which I always reply, "we'll see"...

Now they use that term if I ask them if they have any plans...

You probably won't have enough time, but if you do, come on down south!

I may head to nanjing.... if everyone wants to come party with jesse and me, head on over :D

Maybe I should ask him first... but let's keep it a secret :bangin:

I am waiting on ready to go too. We finished with NVC and now we are waiting for our consulate appointment, so that's when I'll go. I was checking flights last night...I found one for $700 so I looked at the seats available, and there were no open seats on the hop from EWR to PEK...were they teasing me?

I'd book for $700 and let them assign the seat

Everyone who's in China, come on over. The more the merrier. We'd love to have one and all.

My wife is on her way to the Nanjing train station to get tickets for David. I'm hanging behind here to meet his lady when she gets in.

Randy, come on up here if you can. We can all have a great time! Alan, if you're out there, you too. Larry, come on.
