I-134 is for K-Visas

I-864 is for spousal CR-1 or IR-1 visas or Adjustment of status.

Co sponsor for a K-Visa also provides an I-134

Note only need a co sponsor if your income falls below 125% povertyline.

2009 Tax return shows $22k, but it was all unemployment insurance. No earned income. At what point do you have to show 2009 tax info? Past April? It would be much easier to avoid 2009 all together.

Typically they will start asking to see 2009 return after April 15, but before then they can ask for income evidence like Recent pay stubs, or W2, 1099
