Chuck and Chun
I got my P1 in early October from the CSC. I look on Igors list everyday and see many people that submitted applications after me already get there P2. My fiancee also looks and she is asking me why we don't have our P2 yet. I also look on the USCIS website and they say our application is in initial review. Would owing money to the IRS hold up our application? Any help would be appreciated. Link to comment
dnoblett
Petitions process at different rates, some get caught up in longer name checks that others, this is why USCIS indicates on their website it can take up to 5 months to process a petition. https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplay.do We filed out I-751 to remove conditions last September, I know of several who filed at that time or after us who have gotten approvals, again processing varies on a case by case basis. Thank you for the information, it really helps. I will tell my fiancee to try and be patient. The long time away from her is really making me a little crazy. I get encouragement from reading what other CFLers have gone through and soon we will be finally together. Thanks again. Link to comment
