Avs81
Dumb question, but my wife got her permanent resident card and we did not receive an interview either. My question is, do we need to wait for a work permit in the mail? If not, then what do we do after the resident card? Wait until the 90 days before it expires and reapply? Could it be that easy? Thanks for the help! Bill and Wen {edit} corrected topic title. Edited November 23, 2009 by dnoblett (see edit history) Link to comment
dnoblett
The green-card IS work authorization. Green-card = I-551. Look at for I-9 used by employers to determine work authorization. Notice Item #2 in List A I-551 http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-9.pdf As for "Re-Apply" you will file form I-751 to "remove conditions", you file it within 90 days befor the CR-Green-card expires.
