Hi,

 

I am going to Guangzhou two weeks later and meeting my wife there. Just want to ask if she should take vaccin shots while we are there? (We haven't gotten the medical exam letter)

normal I say, "go for it"... it cheaper...

 

but I think for the CR1 medical, it's required as part of the medical... so wait for another CR1 filer to chime in.

Correct, when she goes for her medical exam, she will receive the appropriate vaccinations at that time.

Vaccintaions is REQUIRED for Green-card and residency status in the USA, so since a CR-1 is a resident visa resulting in a green-card upon entry to the USA, the vaccinations are required to be done BEFORE the visa interview, you do them when doing the medical.

If there is a child involved, he or she will receive more once they arrive in the US to attend school. In one year, my son has taken about 8-10 shots for school.
