I-864 is it better to have spouse as co-sponsor?

I am filing AOS for my parents. If my income is sufficient, do you think I need to add my wife as a co-sponsor to show our loves to my parents and like to support my parents for their IR5 visa application?

If you file taxes jointly, have your spouse fill out an I-864A as a member of household to add their income.
