China's biggest property company has just signed a $1.7 billion contract to complete a casino resort in Atlantic City. China State Construction Engineering Corp. (CSCEC) is teaming up with property firm Tishman and casino builder Revel Entertainment to help in completing the new casino by July 2011.

They'll have to follow our building codes and employ folks working in the US. It's far better than the reverse with our companies shipping jobs, factories, and knowledge overseas.

 

That picture with the apartment building is scary. Imagine trying to sell spots in the other two buildings still standing while the one that toppled over is still there.

i doubt it would fall intact like that....looks like some of new home construction in the burbs here US....poor foundation....not quite to that scale though.....
