MRMC
My wife was scheduled for her citizenship interview later this month but it was descheduled. The notice gave no reason. Why does this happen? It does not seem right. Link to comment
dnoblett
I have seen in the past that USCIS has sent this in error, or the field office is unaware the notice was sent. I have seen people ignore the notice as if the did not receive it and visit the field office at the original appointment time and get interviewed, I have seen others follow the de-schedule notice and end up having the field office put them down as a no-show. If the field office is near by you may want to visit the field office at the time of interview appointment. I have also seen the de-schedule notice was legitimate because for some reason the field office was closed for equipment upgrades. Link to comment
