How it started for Yu and myself was I had an account on CHN-Love, and one of there match-makers sent me an "Admirer" email, it was about my wife, I did not respond through CHN, later I spotted my Yu on blossoms, so I contacted her there and exchanged email addresses, the rest is history. Blossoms is much like match.com, NO one actively trying to match people, it is purely a dating site. Blossoms does provide a tour service if you want to meet other members overseas.
