rondrum42 Posted July 7, 2009 Report Share Posted July 7, 2009 Can anyone help?As you can see from our timeline that we went thru all the proper steps to get Li here and now has 2yr Green Card.She wants to bring her 18yr old son here now, an we arenot sure how to go about it on our own. He didnt want to come hereback when she did, but now wants to come and give it a try.Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!Thanks, Ron Link to comment

Depending on his age on Dec 30, 2007 (the date you got married) - you can file an I-130 for your step-son (child for immigration purposes), and he could be here within a few months to a year - IF he wasn't yet 18 on that date. If he was already 18, your wife would have to file (the wait for a child of an LPR is MUCH longer) Link to comment
