It used to be that JKF only provided an EAD stamp in the K-1 visa holder's passport. I don't know if that's still the case. If you're talking simply of an 'entry' stamp, with I-94 travel card, any POE will do that, it's required.

 

I don't recall if BWI has direct flights FROM China, so I don't think BWI will be a POE coming from China. I could be wrong, of course. POE = Point of Entry, is first time one touches USA soil.

USCIS is changing the rules for the "EAD Stamp" after April 1 employers will be REQUIRED to request EAD CARD inorder to work.

 

No sense going out of your way to get a useless stamp.

 

K-1 is a fiancee visa for entry to the USA and marriage it is NOT a work visa.

 

SSA will issue an SSN to a K-1 with or without the stamp. The reason for this is some states require SSN from both persons applying for a marriage license.

No worries - EACH POE has an immigration officer, you will talk to at least ONE. is IAD yer first USA touchdown point? Here's the Dulles website - http://www.metwashairports.com/Dulles/ Good Luck !
