joannaliu
I don't think you will have to go with him to the biometrics appointment. My husband went with me but he was not needed at all. He will just have to fill out a form and then take the fingerprints and will be taken a picture. That's all! Do I have to go with my fiance to get his biometrics done? What do they do besides take your fingerprints? thanks!zanyi Link to comment

LeeFisher3
Be sure your husband, as fiances can't apply for AOS, and that he has all the appointment letter and passport with him. He will need to complete a form that requires name, address, phone number, SSN if applicable, type of case for biometrics (I-485, I-765, etc...) and case numbers for each. Link to comment
dnoblett
The US citizen does not have to go to the bio appointment. In our case the bio appointment was in Buffalo NY, My wife cannot drive so I brought her to the appointment. The benefit in our case is Niagara falls is not far from there so we went to see the falls, "From The American Side of course" Link to comment
