Hello everyone....

We have been on vacation the past several days traveling around China. It's been wonderful. Just arrived back in Nanjing late last night and discovered that Lan and Sarah's I-751 are moving along very quickly.

Lan has received her appointment date for her biometrics, and I expect that Sarah will receive hers in the next few days. However, I am not able to view any information using the EAC number on the letter. I think I recall someone saying that you cannot view information online until AFTER the biometrics appointment? Can anyone confirm this?

Lan and Sarah will be returning to the US for this appointment before the end of the month.

Thanks to all in advance....

Sarah, Jesse and Lan

Ours was available online when we got the biometrics letter. Be sure you are using the case number from the biometrics appointment letter, the one from the receipt will not work online.

I thought we were moving along quickly as well, but it seems they like to get the biometrics done early and that doesn't have any indication on the speed of the processing. Check the online processing times, my wife got her 10 year green card about the time they were supposed to begin processing her case.

Thanks Lee and Yuehan. Lan and Sarah are both very excited to be going back to the US for biometrics. I will be staying here in China, while they visit with family and friends in Florida and Colorado.

Lan and Sarah arrived safely in the US today for their biometrics appointments. I was a little concerned that customs might hassle her about being in China for nine months before returning. I'm happy to report she got through free and clear. The customs agent did however ask her why she'd been in China so long. She replied that her husband was working there and she was returning to renew her green card. The agent was very kind to her and passed her right through.

You had better luck than Frank and his wife, she was in China for 4 months and he joined her for a few weeks before she returned. At the POE they grilled them about being gone so long stating he was concerned that she did not intend to reside in the US.

Well, the ladies just finished their biometrics appointment in Florida; many thanks to DavidZ who picked them up, and waited while they finished their fingerprints and photos, then took them home. Arranging the logistics for them was quite a challenge, and David was very kind in helping out.

The ladies will be returning to China late next month, afterwhich Sarah will return in the summer to finish school.

SO and I just got our reciept notice today how long did it take for you to get your bio-metrics? and did your SO have any problems re entering the US. reason I am asking is that my Wife has been in china since nov 2 and will be arriving March 2 and she is still under the temp green card which expires the 12th of march. Just hope we have no problems

SHouldn't be a problem - she might get a question about why she was gone so long, but nothing consequential

You might want to check the date on her green card - it should be good for 2 years
