number1poophead Posted February 12, 2009 Report Share Posted February 12, 2009 So my dad was the joint-sponsor for the K-1 visa for my wife and now we're going through AOS. Should he put himself down as the main sponsor or joint sponsor? We have the tax returns as supporting evidence. He's self-employed, so he has no W2. Is there any other evidence that should be included? Also, is there anything I should fill out? Thanks for any help!!! Link to comment
LeeFisher3 Posted February 12, 2009 Report Share Posted February 12, 2009 You will need to complete the I-864 as the sponsor and he will use the I-864 as your joint sponsor just like you did with the I-134. The instructions on the I-864 are pretty good about covering the requirements. Link to comment
