Dumb question time

Question 6 we must list my children from any previous marriage and list my ex wife, correct? Question 8 list again children from my previous marriage and ex wife again (seems redundant)

 

But the big question is at the bottom of question 8

 

It states:

 

My spouse has only the (fill in the blank with a number) relatives listed above. My spouse has no other close relatives. There are no omissions.

 

I don't consider my ex as a relative much less a close relative, but what do I know.

Do we have to include the ex wife in the number of close relatives?

 

The way I figure it I have my present wife, my mother and father, and two children from my previous marriage, that's 5, or do I have to list it as 6 to include my ex?

I did not put any of my exes on this form. I went with the bottom sworn statements of the questions and filled out each question accordingly.
