so when he fills out the form what should he check for #3? Legal Alien Allowed to work or not allowed to work? we haven't applied for the EAD yet b/c our wedding is not until next week.

K-1 is "Work Authorized". You MUST check "Legal Alien Allowed to work" or you won't get the SSN
