My son and I just got back from China and had a great trip and this tops it off perfectly.

I am committed to going for the interview, yes. I hope to go to meet her parents the first time afterwards. The trip will be challenging - Guangzhou to Inner Mongolia, then back to the states solo and they will come to the states some days afterwards.
