I am making tennative plans to go back to China after Christmas. I did some checking on direct flight to Nanning and the price is ridiculous over $2,100.

I can fly to Shanghai R/T for $950 and then buy tickets R/T to Nanning for $445 a savings of over $700 plus cut my flight time down by nearly 5 hours. If you feel you are paying too much for your tickets you may wish to explore this option. Here is the link that may help you for plane flights in mainland China.

Hey Tony,

where did you find the ticket to Shanghai? My Fiance is flying from Shanghai to Detroit and we are looking for a cheap ticket. Any advice?

thanks!

Try E-Long or PaciAsia. Good luck to you. Dayton, Ohio R/T
