The doc didnot fill the complete i693 form¡£she only did vaccinatin section. Is this ok? I was under impression that the doctor needs to copy all info from the medical and vaccination booklet.

Are you adjusting from a K-Visa, and if so was the medical for the K-Visa less than a year ago?

 

If K-Visa and visa medical was less than a year ago, then all the doctor only needs to do I-693 vaccinations section.

 

Be grateful that the CS did not try to soak you for a full medical.

 

I-693 directions:

2. What if I am a K nonimmigrant visa holder and already had a medical exam overseas?

 

If you were admitted as a:

 

A. K-1 fianc¨¦(e) or a K-2 child of a K-1 fianc¨¦(e), or as a

B. K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen or a K-4 child of a K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen, and

C. You received a medical examination prior to admission, then-

 

a. You are not required to have another medical examination as long as your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, is filed within one year of your overseas medical examination.

 

b. You will, however, be required to complete Part 1, Information about you, and submit the vaccination section of Part 2 with your

adjustment of status application. A designated civil surgeon must complete the vaccination section and Part 5, the Civil Surgeon's

Certification.

yes, we are K-1 for going for AOS

 

her medical exam was done in June this year.

my gal got also the health check and vaccination booklet during june

when she did her medical in Beijing

 

the doctor gave me just the vaccination page in a sealed envelop.

 

let me know if this is how every K-1 fiancee did for their i693.

Not quite - a form (the equivalent of the I-693) was filled out by the doctor in Beijing. It was included in the sealed packet your SO hand-carried to the POE. You will see it again when she interviews for AOS.

 

The vaccination section of the I-693 was filled out by the doctor in the US and given to you in a sealed envelope for inclusion in your I-485 application.

 

The two forms together provide her complete medical information for the interview.

 

And, yes, everyone does it this way.

when the cs filled out our 693 he included pages 1, 3 , and 5 in the sealed envelope.
