Kim-saru
I know it is not good to ask how much a person makes or how much they send to their in-laws, but is there a percentage that I could use? I just came from a horrible divorce. I was trying to live on just 445 a month after we divorced. Now that it's over I can see my bank account finally be more the 2 digits (that includes the decimal) I'm still trying to get into her traditions, but I know it will be part of me and my extended family. We did come to an agreement. If she wants to work, even part time, she can send her whole pay check to her parents, but I will send some to them till then. Is this wrong? Thanks, Sean Link to comment
tonado
It depends how well off the in-laws are. If they do need money, $100 or $200 a month is plenty. Link to comment
zoeandmorgan
Depends on how much you make, how much they make and the relationship you have with her parents. If you plan on putting money down to buy a house or do something big with your money for you and your wife and her parents know it, they probably won't expect any money from you because you are doing it to build the family.
